How to protect ourselves from coronavirus?
The name “coronavirus” comes from the crown-like projections on their surfaces. “Corona” in Latin means “halo” or “crown.”
Coronavirus is the new outbreak worldwide which is spread through infected animals. It has drastically affected the health of the human all over the world along with the economic state of the countries. This new virus affects the respiratory system and gut of an individual. Symptoms are cold, fever, flu etc. It is easily transmitted one person to another if good hygiene is not maintained.
Some people who are in their good fitness levels recover quickly at the same time some people take too long to recover and sometimes also turn to be fatal for them. People with low immunity are at higher risk.
To fight against any kind of virus, it is very important to have a very good immunity. People with higher immunity can protect themselves from such virus and even if infected can have speedy recovery.
Some super foods which help to boost your immunity if taken on regular basis. Ginger, spinach (slightly boiled/cooked), A2 yoghurt, almonds (8-9), turmeric (with black pepper and cold pressed coconut oil), fresh green tea, papaya, kiwi, protein rich foods in all meals, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, garlic, broccoli+ cabbage+ cauliflower (soup), tomatoes. All these foods are high in anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals and have property to sprint your immunity levels. So load your body with these super foods and keep your immunity intact to fight against any such odd viruses.
To keep virus away from us we have to keep our surrounding very hygienic. Few other tips are:
- Avoid
over exertion which lowers immunity. - Avoid
eating out side food, especially non veg food. - Avoid
smoking and going to smoky areas as it weaken your respiratory tract. - Get
your fever treated by a medical practitioner. - Drink
enough water.

Apart from wearing the surgical facemasks, washing hands frequently, cleaning your areas of regular touch and having endless super foods.
Here are some points which will help you to boost your immunity as this virus attacks people who have compromised immunity.
Nutrition- Fad Diets stoops your immunity. So, first thing is to have wholesome diet. Eat enough of fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, whole grains etc.
Exercise: Keep moving. That helps to increase your blood circulation. This helps to boost your immune system.
Sleep: Your body rejuvenates and boosts it’s immunity when you get enough sleep.
Stress: No stress will keep you away from any virus. Stress kills immune system so relax and stay calm. Do your 30 mins of pranayama or deep breathing.
How to prevent transmission?
1. Stay home and rest
2. Avoid close contacts with other people.
3. Cover your mouth and nose while coughing and sneezing.
4. Also dispose the used tissues very carefully.
5. Avoid touching your face.
6. Wash your hands very frequently.
